Nifty Market News The market closed green today. Sensex close up 173.74 gains 0.70% & the Nifty close up 53.35 gains 0.72%, rose to a record close on Tuesday as metal firms such as Tata Steel surged on improving China’s factory and services data, with sentiment also supported after the central bank kept rates on hold and toned down its inflation rhetoric. Export orders improved although activity still contracted, adding to signs the economy may be stabilizing. Metal index ended with 5% gains led by Tata Steel and Sesa Sterlite.
